Learn. Create. Repeat. Such is the story of my life. Even as a child, I spent much of my time writing stories, illustrating my storybooks, working on craft projects and the like. As I grew up, that desire to bring to life what lived in my imagination turned into an infatuation with full-fledged design.

In 2006, I graduated from Monroe County Community College with a degree in Web design, with a secondary emphasis in graphic design. Always interested in learning more, I continued my education first at the University of Toledo (concentrating in the communications field) and then completed a bachelor's degree in Technology Management at Eastern Michigan University in 2011.

Small businesses have become near and dear to my heart over the last decade. There's something charming about their culture, and there's always opportunity to help out in unexpected ways. I've worked with local restaurants, car detail shops, small town newspapers, and more ... all with that same gung ho mentality. I create flyers, menus, ads, or other print marketing pieces, but also help small business owners determine what kind of Web presence they need - from what scale of Web site to what angles of social media they need to be involved in. And if my clients are looking something I've never tried before ... never a better time than the present!
